Info about "Ghost Train"
Wild Horse Productions is excited to revive the yearly tradition of the Halloween "Ghost Train" at Mills Park in partnership with the Carson City  Railroad Association.

The "Ghost Train" will run for 2 nights Friday-Saturday October 30-31. We will have two different train "shows" each night: an earlier show for the littles (running approx. 3 pm-6 pm) with a family friendly "Alice in Halloweenland" theme, and a later scarier night show (running 6:30 pm-8:30 pm) themed "Alice in Nightmareland" for ages 13+.

Each train ride is approximately 10-12 minutes long and we will have a variety of different dramatic scenes with lighting, sets, and actors staged along the entire train route through Mills Park. The event has been approved by the Carson City Parks Department and will be following all COVID-19 related guidelines. All of the scene groups will be spaced far apart from other scenes and from the train itself. We will be attempting to create our scene groups with family/friend "pods" who already interact with each other safely. Any actors who are not with their "pod" will be required to wear masks. We will also have at least 1 adult with each scene group for safety and monitoring.

CASTING NOTE: Casting is open to anyone over age 10 and no audition is necessary. We will try to utilize as many actors as possible, but we may not be able to cast everyone who signs up this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
*Current "Alice in Wonderland" and "Heathers" cast members and previous Wild Horse Children's Theater actors will get first consideration.

This will be a really fun event and we are hoping to do it every year if it goes well! Thanks for your interest and if you have any questions, please email whctonstage@gmail.com.
