GHS 2019 BREAKFAST SESSION: URBAN PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS
20 June 2019 | 7:00 - 7:50 AM | International Convention Centre Sydney, Room C2.1
The Georgetown University Center for Global Health Science and Security is pleased to convene a roundtable discussion on urban pandemic preparedness.

Our world is both increasingly urban and globalized – providing undeniable benefits, but also rendering our society increasingly susceptible to infectious disease outbreaks. This session will focus on a research agenda for improving urban pandemic preparedness, highlight current research, and conclude with a call for chapters in a forthcoming volume on case studies of urban pandemic preparedness.
