Pre-Event Trail Prep:
This will include pre-riding the property, mapping, riding routes, flagging trail & clearing/trimming as needed. We will be using existing trail but may also need to cut in a few short sections of single track. Free camping will be available near the RCTR Office in the day lot.

Dirty Santa Toy Run - November 8, 2026 - Bear Valley Road, PA
We need folks to prep trails, help with set up, registration, raffle, and other things throughout the day!
  • Thursday, November 5 - arrive to camp
  • Friday, November 6: initial pre ride and arrowing, initial setup at location
  • Saturday, November 7: complete arrowing, final setup at location, team dinner
  • Sunday, November 8: EVENT DAY! - Tent help, sweeping trails and lots of opportunities to get out & ride!

Volunteer Tasks Descriptions:
It takes a lot of hands to pull of amazing events.  We will try to do short shifts so everyone also gets a chance to ride.  Here are some specific areas we are looking for help.
  • Tent - Manage gates, registration, waivers, T-shirt & Raffle Sales, Judging best dressed ect.
  • Group Rides - Help lead or sweep an organized morning group ride. 
  • Games - Organize games for in the afternoon, youth and/or adult. It is whatever you want to make it. Just let us know what you need!
  • Event Trail Prep - Help arrow, clear and prep trails for the event Fri/Sat.
  • Trail Support - Event day trail sweeping, fix or re-route problem areas,  report riders that need assistance and help make sure everyone has a good time. You'll basically be riding all day.
  • Event Tear Down - Be available after 4:00 PM on Sunday to help De-arrow, pack up under the tent, pull signs ect. If everyone jumps in a little we should be done by 6:00 PM.
  • Toy Delivery - Do you have an enclosed trailer or Van that you can bring to help load with toys & then deliver to the local Toys for Tots in Pottsville, PA (30 min drive?)

This year we will be hosting a free catered dinner in the tent for the DVTR Team on Saturday, November 7 at 6:00 PM. We have a lot to celebrate including our 10 year Anniversary as a club!
Please let us know if you will be attending and if you are bringing any immediate family members that did NOT fill out their own volunteer survey.

Event Planning: I'm interested in joining the Dirty Santa Steering Committee. Steering committee communications are managed through Facebook Messenger and periodic Zoom meetings. Meetings are optional but contributing in the chat when able is highly encouraged. *
