The UB and UBMS programs at Central Carolina Community College are federally-funded educational programs that provide services to high school students in preparation for college. We currently have two grants, Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science, for Harnett County Schools (Harnett Central, Western Harnett, Overhills, and Triton) and one grant, Upward Bound, for Lee County Schools (Lee County High School and Southern Lee). To be eligible for the program, students must attend one of the listed high schools. 8th grade students may apply but will not be eligible to enroll until their 9th grade year.
After submitting this online application, we will email your parents an Eligibility Form and a Release of Information form from an Adobe email address to sign electronically. We will also send the recommendation forms to your counselor or your teacher.
Once your application has been received, you will be notified by mail of your application status. If you have any questions, please email us at
ub@cccc.edu. Thank you for your interest in Upward Bound!
