Join Planned Parenthood Great Rivers' Brands Against Bans, a partnership and preferred business listing with businesses committed to publicly supporting sexual and reproductive health and rights.
Businesses of all sizes have the power to leverage their brand and resources to affect social change. The Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has put increased focus on the importance of abortion access and bodily autonomy as a whole. Now more than ever, consumers are looking for brands to take a public stance and take action to support sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially in states like Missouri where abortion has been banned.
Abortion bans are deeply unpopular. According to a poll by Impact Research, 75% of Missouri voters want abortion to remain legal. Taking a public stance against abortion bans and supporting sexual and reproductive health and rights is beneficial for business. Seven in 10 top talent say reproductive health care should be a part of the issues companies address when it comes to gender issues in the workplace.* Seventy-seven percent of consumers consider reproductive health an important issue, and of these consumers, 86% want brands to take a stand.* Fifty-six percent of Gen Z and 55% of Millennials would be more likely to buy from a brand that publicly supports reproductive health care.*
