2019 Summer Reading Club Volunteer Form
The Red Oak Public Library is looking for volunteers to help us offer more programs for our summer reading club. "Libraries Rock" is designed to encourage children to continue reading during vacation so that valuable reading skills won't be lost. We hope to offer variety of activities for children. Our programs are typically Story Time on Tuesdays at 10am, Activity Days on Wednesdays at 2pm, and Special Performers on Thursdays at 7pm.

Assist the librarian on Tuesday mornings with Story Time
Assist the librarian on Wednesday afternoons with Crafts or other programs
Assist the librarian on Thursday evenings with our Special Events Programs
Set up the event rooms before or after an event
Prep materials for events in advance (Craft Supplies, Weekly Prizes, etc.)
Help with registration, checking reading logs and distributing prizes
Answer questions for patrons such as where to find materials and how to get a library card
Work on our website or assist with other computer work
Perform Day-to-Day duties (Shelving, Processing items, Book Repair, etc.)
Join a Library Organizations (Library Board, Friends of the Library, Library Advocate)
