Umang is Pakistan’s first, 24/7 mental health helpline that is run by GGCP-certified clinical Psychologists and active listeners. We are official partners of Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok from Pakistan. Umang is also recognized by the world health organization and Mental Health Innovation Network.

For the first time in Pakistan, Umang Pakistan in collaboration with The Connect Hut and International QPR Institute brings in Suicide prevention Gatekeeper certification accredited by International QPR Institute and valid for a period of 2 years.

The training and certification would lead to an internship at the warmline wing of Umang Pakistan with real callers.


We are offering 2 pathways.

A: Psychological First Aid and active listener training that’s a 1-month training followed by roleplay practice + QPR certification. (3 hours). This would provide an internship opportunity on our warmline by the end of the training.

B: Just QPR Certification. 3-hour module discussion followed by a simulated online test. On completion, you become a certified Suicide prevention gatekeeper accredited by International QPR Institute.

Fee Structure

Plan A: 7,000/- PKR (Suicide prevention + QPR Training)
Plan B: 4,500/- PKR (QPR Training only)

Training + QPR that is Plan A, would lead to an internship on our warmline with real clients.
