Cancel Standardized testing during the pandemic (a list by state is currently being created along with alternative formative assessments). The state department of education should make this call in abundance of caution.

We demand that physical, mental and emotional health of our school communities be the driving force behind a system-wide policy decisions. At a minimum educators should have access to 24 EAP mental health sessions with a licensed counselor.

Technological access is an equity issue, therefore it’s imperative that educators have free 5G broadband internet connectivity to engage in learning currently and beyond the pandemic.
