Using a travel agent is a rewarding and relaxing process. When you book on your own, you are already paying for a travel agent and not getting their services. Plus you are supporting a local, small business. We use suppliers that, in many cases, only work with travel agents AND suppliers that you could book on your own, and neither charge you more for using a Travel Agent. We save clients an average of 20 hours and $400 in unnecessary costs and time costs. We are professional agents who do training and have support of a large, 5000 person agency, so we can get you all the personalized itineraries you desire AND support you IF something goes awry during or after your trip. We are just a phone call or email away.
Please note that although we don't charge a service fee to plan most trips, if you cancel your trip, after booking, you will be charged a cancellation fee, to the card you used to pay your deposit or final payment. Travel agents do not get paid for planning your trips, we are only paid after you travel. So to make up for our time spent on your trip, we allow one modification without fees, other than that the fee schedule is as follows:
$50 modifications after 1 time, we understand that COVID, illness, work, etc, will cause modifications at times
$50 cancellation for domestic hotels
$100 cancellation for packages, other than Disney, that include more than one component
$100 cancellation for international hotel only
$150 cancellations for packages, other than Disney, that include 3 or more components or multiple stops
$100 cancellation for cruises
We do not book domestic airfare, generally, but you would like us to, and it's not part of a package booked by one of our suppliers, through us, we charge $25 per ticket and require date of birth and first and last name of traveler at the time of quoting. Airfare can change even minute to minute.
If you are planning a trip with more than one "head of household" IE, 4 girlfriends going on a trip, we will provide one quote for free. After that, we require a retainer of $25 per person, which will go against your final payment. So you never get charged a service fee as long as you plan to book your trip with us. There have been many times, as a travel agent, someone gets quote after quote and then half of the group wants to book on their own, using our expertise and advice given during the planning process. Again, we don't get paid until people book and travel using our services.
