Epping Forest School Uniform Exchange (SUE)
The cost of school uniforms can be a major problem for many families, up to an estimated £316 per secondary pupil. This increases hardship in low-income families and can even influence ther choce of school. A School Uniform Exchange (SUE) helps families reduce these costs.

Epping Forest Green Party is looking into the feasibility of setting up a school uniform exchange before suggesting it as something our District Council could organise.

Our proposal to Epping Forest District Council is likely to suggest using our public libraries as School Uniform Exchange venues, rotating between four towns during a month. If the council and our libraries agree to that which one of our libraries would be most convenient for you?
