The themes for the 2018 Creative Writing Challenge are:
- Invention... write about a brand new, never-before-seen machine, tool, potion, household helper... or any other type of invention.
- Best Buds... friends ‘till the end! Write about friends who work together to try to solve a problem.
- Magic Wand... write about what you would do with a magic wand.
Remember, writers can choose to write on ANY topic; they are not limited to these suggestions.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for grade levels 3-5 in fiction and poetry. Kindergarten, lst, and 2nd grade writers will all receive recognition awards. All winners and participants will be acknowledged at the end of the contest.
