Take Direct Action to Delay FERC's Quorum
It's a historic moment in the history of the energy system on Turtle Island (aka the United States). Never before has FERC been below the quorum it needs to approve fossil fuel infrastructure. FERC has one commissioner right now. It needs at least two more to be fully operational. Now is the time to act.

Let's do whatever we can to disrupt or delay a restoration on FERC's quorum. Two of Trump's nominees--Powelson and Chatterjee--have been voted through the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and will come before the full Senate for approval any day now.

The FERC Vacancies Coalition will be organizing direct actions to stop or delay the nominations in Washington, DC. Please fill out the form below if you're interested in taking part in or supporting direct action around the FERC vacancies.

Stopping or delaying FERC's work stops or delays all infrastructure waiting to be approved by the commission and gives us a platform to build our movement for a just transition off fossil fuels and to an exploitation-free energy system.

Feel free to write to Actions@BeyondExtremeEnergy.org if you have questions, concerns, or comments, or if you want to get involved in the planning process.

Thank you!
