🌟 Youth 4444 Change Membership Application Form 🌟

We are so excited that you are interested in joining Youth 4444 Change (Y4C)! We are a community of passionate young people (ages 16-24) who have experienced or are currently experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Together, we work to raise our voices, advocate for change, and support one another.

By becoming a member, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of important initiatives, learn new skills, and be a leader in creating lasting change in your community. Whether you’re interested in leadership roles, organizing events, or simply being part of the conversation, we welcome your unique perspectives and ideas.

  "I want to join Youth 4444 Change because I’ve experienced housing instability and I know how hard it is to be a young person without support. I want to help other youth who are going through it. I think my voice can help make systems better. I also want to build confidence and learn how to speak up in meetings. I’m excited to be part of something that’s making a difference."

What challenges do you think young people face today, and how would you like to help address them?
  "I think a lot of young people struggle with mental health and not feeling heard. It’s hard when adults don’t listen or understand what we’re going through. I want to help by speaking up for youth and making sure they know they’re not alone. I’d like to help create safe spaces where youth can talk and get support."

Do you have any ideas for projects or initiatives that Youth 4444 Change could undertake?

"I think Youth 4444 Change could create care packages with hygiene items and snacks for youth in shelters or on the street. We could also make short videos sharing our stories to help adults understand what youth go through. I’d love to help plan a youth-led event where we speak directly to decision-makers. Another idea is a guide that explains housing programs in simple words so youth know their options."

  "I’m good at writing and like using my words to express how I feel or what I’ve been through. I’ve also spoken up at meetings and helped organize a small event at school. I care a lot about making sure youth are included and feel safe. I don’t know everything yet, but I’m a fast learner and I’m excited to grow my skills."

 "I like to communicate by text or in writing because it gives me time to think about my response. I do well in small group conversations where everyone gets a chance to speak.
