The Annual Budget for the financial year 2025-26 will be presented on 1st February (tentatively). In last few years we have seen the budgetary allocation of a department of Empowerment of Person With Disabilities (DoEPwD) been either static or been under utilised.
Thus, at the present budget consultation level we wish to send specific and practical suggestions to the DoEPwD that will reflect the realities of the PwDs and their genuine demands. Towards this, we wish to conduct Pre budget consultation with stakeholders to come up with the list of suggestions to be sent to the DoEPwD.
