Thank you for your interest in being a parent volunteer. The Boonton School District is fortunate to have parents who are involved in our schools. As required by New Jersey's Anti-Bullying and Harassment Legislation, all volunteers must complete a Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) training and the Boonton School District requires this be completed annually. In an effort to make this training convenient to you, we offer an online course that will satisfy the state requirement. The online HIB training must be completed as the first step in signing up to be a parent volunteer. After submitting this form, you will receive an email notification from Safe Schools Training when the HIB program has been activated for you. The email notification will be sent to the email address you have provided and will include the instructions you need to complete the program. Please allow 2-3 business days to receive the email. If you don't receive the email notification after 3 business days, please log onto https://boonton-nj.safeschools.com/login
with your email address. If you have questions about accessing the Safe Schools HIB program, please email email@example.com
You will also receive an e-mail from Sterling Volunteers once your background check is in process. They will notify us once the check is complete. Typical turn around time is 2 - 3 days from the time we upload the data to them. The associated fee for this process is paid for by the Board of Education.
