わたしたちは、日本で家族(かぞく)とすむ外国につながる子どもと若者の母語・継承語・母国語教育(ぼご・けいしょうご・ぼこくごきょういく)についてしらべています。みなさんが、日本でどんな言葉(ことば)をつかっているか、母語・継承語・母国語を学ぶ機会(きかい)があるかを聞きます。データは、日本でみなさんが母語・継承語・母国語を学ぶ機会をふやすためにつかいます。
日本で家族や保護者(ほごしゃ)といっしょにすんでいる13歳から25歳までの外国につながる子どもと若者にこたえてもらいます。家族によびよせられた、日本でうまれた、という理由(りゆう)で日本にきた人はこたえてください。自分の意思(いし)で留学(りゅうがく)にきた、結婚(けっこん)するためにきた、という理由で日本にきた人はこたえないでください。

We are conducting a survey on education of native language, heritage language, and national language for transnational migrant children and youth living with their families or guardians in Japan. We will ask about your language use and whether you have opportunities to learn it in Japan. We will use the data to extend opportunities to learn the native languages in Japan.
We expect answers from migrant children and youth living with their families or guardians ages 13 to 25 currently living in Japan. If you came to Japan because your family called you or you were born in Japan, please answer the question. Please do not answer if you came to Japan to study or to get married.
You can skip any questions or stop answering them if you do not want to continue. You can get support from your teachers or volunteers at your school if the questions are not clear. Or you can reach us by e-mail in any language. The Toyota Foundation supports this survey. I appreciate your participation.
