I need help with a turtle!
We have a hotline, you can text or call us at 647-474-4748 for anything urgent.  We will want a photo of the turtle and the location, specific address or waypoint (pin of location) to navigate to where it is and at least your first name.

Turtles in harms way can be moved to the direction they are headed.

Injured turtles should be kept without food or water in a bin/box that they cannot escape from.  A towel can be placed under an injured turtle but no attempts to fix the turtle should be made.

Please remember that nesting turtles should not be touched/moved and you should remain 2-3 car lengths away to not disturb.

Use this form to notify Heart Lake Turtle Troopers, located in Brampton, that you have spotted a turtle that is:
- out of water and possibly nesting (end of May to mid July)
- close to a road
- injured
- dead
- hatchling out of nest
- eggs seen but not properly protected
- nest protector issue
- turtle question
