Director-Playwright Speed Dating with Good Apples Collective

Are you a playwright looking to meet directors? Are you a director looking to meet playwrights?

Join Good Apples Collective 2-4pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in Tompkins Square Park (East 10th Street in Manhattan). Last year, we were joined by 60 emerging artists looking to build new connections — and they did!

We’ll help engineer some creative meet-cutes and spend some time getting to know each other. Think low stakes! Think very friendly!

The first half of the event will be structured as round robin speed dates, with rotating circles of directors and playwrights. Afterward, we will have some freeform mingling time for everyone, with snacks and water provided.
