This is ASH:
CORE TEAM: The directors, the one that make sure things keep moving forward. They are experienced in their fields of management, and are the catalysts for growth within ASH.
IN-COUNTRY TEAM: The doers, the on-the-ground actors in Wamuini, Kenya. Composed entirely of locals, our in-country team are the activists who make things happen. From our nurses to our board, they mobilize the community for meaningful change and drive results, all while inspiring the rest of us to continue to do good.
OFFICERS: The independent thinkers, the talented foundation of ASH. From grant writers to web developers to social media wizards, officers know how to balance their specific skillset with innovative approaches to their specific role. They are creative and confident in utilizing their expertise to improve ASH. Keep an eye out for openings on our Idealist page.
REGIONAL TEAMS: The front line volunteers, the ones who campaign for our causes and are always looking for opportunities to discuss the need for equity in health or the importance of sanitation. Regional teams are organized groups of volunteers who channel their passion for positive change into local fundraisers and events, lectures, discussions, or happy hours to find like-minded individuals and support ASH. All are welcome.
AMBASSADORS*: The activists, the passionate ones who learn about ASH and then do something about it. Whether you join a regional team or act on your own, we want your help. Donate, spread the word, or dedicate your next birthday to support access to health care in Kenya. Share, retweet or regram our updates. Run a 5K (or a marathon!) and raise funds for our ongoing projects.
*Ambassadors should complete the Ambassador Interest Form, to receive more information on individual fundraising: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1FrwAfc6h5_bUhK2KKaPyCCRiaFwVoKrD_4IpMJn29ZE/viewform
