LGBT+ Resource Center at MOSAIC Fall 2017 Safe Zone Training
Safe Zone is designed to educate UCCS students, faculty, and staff about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities. Learning outcomes include awareness of: LGBTQ terminology, the coming out process, and beginner level strategies to being a supportive ally of the LGBTQ community. This program creates a visible safe community on campus through the display of Safe Zone Stickers. Safe Zone training is approximately 2 hours long.
