We’d like to share some important information to help clarify a few common misunderstandings you might come across online or on social media.

The Marietas Islands consist of two main islands and several rocky and sandy formations, forming a small archipelago. One of the islands is Playa Nopalera and the other one is home to the famous Hidden Beach—also known as Playa del Amor. It’s important to understand the difference between visiting the Marietas Islands and actually accessing Hidden Beach.

Access to Hidden Beach is strictly regulated by the National Park. Only 116 people per day are allowed to enter this protected area, making it a very exclusive experience.

No tour company—ours included—offers guaranteed access to Hidden Beach as part of their standard price to Marietas tour.

If you want to visit Hidden Beach, there is an additional mandatory fee of $1,700 MXN per person, payable in cash on the day of your tour. This fee is set by park authorities and your spot must be confirmed in advance, subject to availability.

Of course, you’re always welcome to enjoy the beauty of the Marietas Islands without visiting Hidden Beach—there's still plenty to explore and enjoy.

  • ❌ Not included in your tour: Access to Hidden Beach has an additional cost of $1,700 MXN PER PERSON. 
  • ⚠️ Payment is accepted only in cash and in Mexican Pesos (MXN). (No cancellations are allowed once spots are confirmed, under any circumstances. Non-refundable.)
  • 🚫 Limited Access: Only 116 people per day can visit the beach.
  • 👤 Age Restriction: Only individuals between 12 and 57 years old are eligible.
  • 🦺 Safety Measures: Wearing a life vest and helmet is mandatory.
  • 🚫 Not suitable for pregnant women.

  • ⏱️ Important Note: Visiting Hidden Beach may reduce the time available to enjoy the yacht’s water toys. No compensation or refund will be provided for unused activity time.  

  • If your trip is this month:
    As soon as we receive your request, we’ll follow up right away to confirm availability and process your request for Hidden Beach access.

  • If your trip is in a future month:
    Once we receive your request, we’ll add your name to the waiting list for the month of your travel date. Since access is allocated on a monthly basis by the National Park, we’ll reach out to you again on the 1st day of your travel month to reconfirm your details and availability.
