Volunteer Registration Form
To ensure the safety of our students and adhere to California law, Kentfield School District is requiring volunteers to meet certain requirements each year prior to volunteering in our school district for that school year. The requirements to volunteer vary depending on the volunteer position. Please see the volunteer categories and requirements below.

FIELD TRIP DRIVER

Requirements:

  • Complete the Volunteer Registration Form below
  • Complete Live Scan Fingerprinting (info at https://www.kentfieldschools.org/families/involvement-opportunities/volunteer-registration/)
  • Submit Driving Record (Request from DMV then email to site administrative assistant)
  • Complete Driver Form and provide Proof of Insurance to site administrative assistant

SCREENED VOLUNTEER

Includes:

  • Overnight Chaperones (non-drivers)
  • Any Unsupervised Volunteer

Requirements:

  • Complete the Volunteer Registration Form below
  • Complete Live Scan Fingerprinting (info at https://www.kentfieldschools.org/families/involvement-opportunities/volunteer-registration/)

TRAINED VOLUNTEER

Includes:

  • Classroom Volunteer
  • Food Service Volunteer
  • Walking Field Trip Chaperone
  • Drop off/Pick up Volunteer

Requirements:

  • Receive training on-site for the particular position
  • No need to complete Volunteer Registration Form below.

SCHOOL VISITOR/HELPER

Includes:

  • School Visitor (school events, parties, performances)

Requirements:

  • No requirements to participate.  
  • No need to complete Volunteer Registration Form below.
