YOUNG ADULT SUMMER MISSIONS MEET-UP!!

Send me info to meet the Chapel Hill college students doing mission projects this summer! Noel is in an EPC cohort and worked with Afghan families in California. Celia is helping with a refugee kids camp in Kent. And Marina is raising support for literacy in Rwanda.

ASIA: Check one to follow and pray:

MIKE & KATIE live with their young kids and a puppy in Southeast Asia. He leads a K-12 international Christian school, and she showers blessings through art, teaching and mentoring.

CAMBODIAN HOPE works on the Thai border known for trafficking. They build up resilient, healthy communities in villages and life-changing Christian education at the Safe Haven School.

HOUSE OF BLESSING in Bangkok reaches out to those in prison, provides a loving home for their young children, and welcomes and equips them after they are released.

THAI CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION serves the remote Talako people on the Myanmar-Thai border through health, education and pastoral support.

AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST: Check one to follow and pray:

CAROL ERICKSON has a contagious joy and loves kids. In Kenya, teen pregnancies are high and can ostracize a girl just as her life begins. Under Carol’s lead, Imara is a family of faith and support so young moms can achieve their full potential.

DOUG BURLEIGH has led “Jesus Conferences” for young people in all 15 former Soviet nations and Russia. He invites civil servants to Jesus-centered living through The Fellowship in Washington D.C.

LARRY & ANDREA translate scripture, making it accessible in Muslim cultures, so that people hear God’s redemption story and share it. They believe crossing barriers of fear and difference is something we all can try to do.

MARY JEAN KOPP and her late husband Peter founded New Life Homes in Eswatini (southern Africa) to care for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. The 195-acre farm is now led by many of them! A home to belong, to learn and to thrive.

AMERICAS: Check one to follow and pray:

WORLD RELIEF HAITI empowers the local church to meet tremendous need with unwavering hope. They teach families and communities how to work together to reflect Christ and fight poverty.

AGUA VIVA works to see Mexico transformed by the love of Jesus. They train local faith leaders, host short-term teams, and fuel creative neighborhood outreach to meet people where they are.

TROY & CAROLINE WILSON lead the city life in multi-cultural San Francisco. He loves to hear people’s stories, connect over hard questions, and offer spiritual formation. The Table is a safe place to find authentic community and the grace of God.

BRAD & SUMMER SCANDRETT live in North San Diego with their busy family AND hundreds of teenagers as friends. Brad leads Young Life for the region and won’t rest until every kid has a chance to hear how loved they are by God.
