Thank you for clicking on the link to reserve your Join Scouting Night for 2025
BEFORE YOU FILL THE FORM OUT, here's what you need to know:
- Your Join Scouting Night should be scheduled on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday in September. If another day is requested, please call your District Executive before completing the form.
- Your Join Scouting Night is NOT during the school's open house.
- ALL information, including a complete address for the Join Scouting Night's location, must be provided.
- These dates MUST be confirmed by your District's professional. Watch for their confirmation email!
Here's what Council will do to support your unit's recruiting (IF THE JOIN SCOUTING NIGHT INFORMATION IS PROVIDED PRIOR TO AUGUST 15th):
- Your District's professional will arrange a Scout talk/flyer distribution in the school/group designated in your recruitment plan. (This is, of course, dependent on local access.)
- Council will promote your Join Scouting night through paid ads on Facebook and Instagram. Ads work best if they are shared. Failure to share paid ads means significantly less people see the scheduled event.
- Council will provide signage to mark where the Join Scouting Night is taking place.
- Council will provide all of the forms your unit will need to recruit effectively, including a checklist of what units that are successfully recruiting provide to families of new Scouts.
- Council will print the appropriate number of flyers to distribute at the Scout talks.
- Your District's professional and your District's membership team will work together to give a Scout recruitment talk/distribute flyers at the school from which your unit recruits.
