Thoreau and Diversity: People, Principles, and Politics
The theme of the 2020 Annual Gathering is "Thoreau and Diversity: People, Principles, and Politics." We're seeking contributions that consider Thoreau and his contemporaries in the context of diversity as it relates to issues and events in their time or our own.

We're particularly interested in contributions that consider social dimensions of diversity, including but not limited to those related to class, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, justice, physical ability, race, religion, and sexual orientation. Contributions that consider Thoreau and biodiversity or Thoreau and diversity of opinion should also connect with one or more of these social dimensions.

Deadline for submission: December 7, 2019. If you have more than one proposal to submit, you'll need to complete this form for each proposal. Once you submit the form, you'll receive a copy of your responses at the email address you provide below.
