Welcome to our free Student Matinee program at Diversionary Theatre.
This program brings you and your students to our theatre for cutting-edge LGBTQIA+ programming.
Please feel free to share this with other educators as we strive to build partnerships with the greater San Diego area.

Dragon Mama is recommended for middle school and up. 
  • Student matinee performance is Wednesday September 27th
  • Diversionary Theatre is located at 4545 Park Blvd #101, San Diego, CA 92116
  • Show begins at 10:00am and runs for 90mins and will include a post show workshop.

Due to high demand, all requests that come in for our shows will be placed on a wait list. We coordinate with schools on a rolling basis and strive to provide opportunity and access to as many schools as our space can accommodate. We will confirm as soon as possible.

Please sign up below to request your tickets to attend our student matinee performance:
  1. Tickets are subject to availability
  2. Confirmation of tickets will be made as far in advance of the performance date as possible
  3. When requesting, please request a total that includes your staff and chaperones.
Our theater seats 102 people. Please be understanding that we may not be able to honor your request due to high demand.
