Stream and Wetland Restoration Performance Assessment Training
CRWP received an Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Assistance Grant to assess the performance of previously implemented stream and wetland restoration projects. For this project, CRWP visited fifteen previously completed stream and/or wetland restoration projects and assessed the degree to which each is functioning as designed using standardized protocols. Where projects were not functioning optimally, CRWP is working with communities and partners to identify remedies and funding sources.

CRWP is holding two half-day trainings to present the findings of these assessments and offer lessons learned for natural resource managers and other interested partners. These trainings will also highlight other restoration performance assessments conducted in northeast Ohio by conservation partners such as Cleveland Metroparks. For additional information or to RSVP, please contact Kim Brewster at kbrewster@crwp.org or 440-975-3870.
