Artslife Internship Application
Artslife is a paid, six week summer internship program for 10 rising sophomores and juniors who live in New York City and are enrolled in a New York City public or charter high school. It combines art and design with leadership training, museum studies, and community engagement. Participants are introduced to museum careers and go behind the scenes at MAD, create digital content for the museum, take field trips to other cultural institutions in New York, and collaborate on programming for teens citywide.

Letters of recommendation *
I understand that Artslife requires you to have one letter of reference from a teacher, guidance counselor, community leader, mentor or coach. Please have your reference submit your recommendation via the Google Form with this link: https://forms.gle/XDn9gwRQeT3u2YsS7 OR have your reference send your letter from their email (on official letterhead if they desire) to teens@madmuseum.org with the subject line: “Artslife Intern + your (the student's) last name", OR have them mail a hard copy to the Education Department c/o Artslife at 2 Columbus Circle, New York, NY 10019. Only applications complete with an official recommendation letter and an essay will be considered. This letter is due at 11:59pm on Monday, April 15, 2024.
