Boston, Massachusetts
Wednesday, March 17, 2027

The National Science Education Leadership Association (NSELA) invites you to submit proposals for workshop sessions at our 67th Annual Conference. This amazing professional learning opportunity brings together science education leaders from across the nation to explore innovative and transformative practices that shape the future of science education.

As science leaders, we are tasked with guiding our communities through rapidly shifting educational landscapes. Drawing inspiration from Boston’s rich history of revolution, intellectual discovery, and maritime navigation, this year's conference challenges leaders to act as beacons of progress. We invite you to share your expertise, research, and proven frameworks to help colleagues navigate the future of STEM education.

Aligned with this year’s theme, we are particularly interested in sessions that empower leaders to drive meaningful change and enhance Framework-based teaching and learning. The conference strands will be as follows:
  • Charting the Course for Innovation: Curriculum, AI, and the Next Frontier

  • Charting the Course for Inclusion: Lighting the Beacon for All Learners

  • Charting the Course for Educators: Building Pathways for Leadership and Retention

  • Charting the Course for Advocacy: Navigating Funding, Policy, and Sustainability

Proposals are due by Friday, October 16, 2026. Accepted submissions will be announced in November. We encourage you to share your expertise and insights to inspire and support leaders in science education. Your contribution could make a lasting impact on the field. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your ideas and connect with like-minded professionals.
