WYGAP provides tailored technical assistance to help local and tribal government entities, non-profits, and small businesses navigate the complexities of grant funding. Whether you need support planning projects, identifying funding opportunities, developing competitive applications, or managing awarded grants, WYGAP offers expert guidance to build your organization’s capacity and maximize available resources. This assistance is available to Wyoming’s communities at no cost to eligible entities.

Available Services:

Pre-Award Support Services: WYGAP provides support to help communities plan competitive projects, identify funding opportunities to close financial gaps, and develop strong, well-positioned grant applications.

• Project Planning: Our project planning services can help communities develop strategic, well-structured and data-driven projects that are highly competitive for federal and state funding.

• Grant Research: As part of our project planning support, our grant research services help communities identify relevant federal and state funding opportunities that address project funding gaps. 

• Grant Application Development: Our grant application development services support communities in developing strong, competitive proposals by providing expert advice on crafting clear narratives and meeting all necessary funder guidelines.

• Compliance Support: WYGAP offers policy review services designed to assist communities in enhancing or developing policies and procedures for managing federal grants. These services are supported by tools and templates, including a Post-Award Grant Administration & Compliance Checklist, Subrecipient Risk Assessment Template, and Project Design and Documentation Form, to help ensure effective management of federal awards.
