First Draft Standards Session #4 - Vicarious Trauma
First Draft is aware of the toll that news monitoring can sometimes take, particularly when this monitoring exposes you to disturbing content. Viewing eyewitness media or user-generated content that includes unexpectedly distressing images or language may cause you to experience emotions relating to the traumatic content on your computer screen, known as vicarious trauma.

Please sign up here if you are interested in being invited to our October Standards Session on vicarious trauma.
