Yoga is a system of techniques and guidance for enriched living. People use various aspects of yoga to help raise their quality of life in diverse areas such as fitness, stress relief, wellness, vitality, mental clarity, healing, and peace of mind. In this relax-paced Hatha yoga class, physical postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Sitting, standing, and inverted postures are taught in a fun, non-intimidating setting. Breathing techniques and concentration/meditation are also integrated to harness the mind’s attention and the body's strength.Classes are taught by Michelle Restivo, certified and registered yoga teacher.
