2018 Lewisburg Community Garden Application
This is the application to rent a garden plot for the 2018 growing season at the Lewisburg Community Garden, which will run from April 7th to December 15th. The Lewisburg Community Garden is located on the corner of St. Anthony Street and N. Water Street in Downtown Lewisburg. For a $30 fee, garden members will receive a garden plot, access to water, mulch and compost, and some limited tools. All garden member fees are applied directly to garden operations, not administrative costs.

Additionally, there will be a variety of free educational workshops offered throughout the season, and staff members are happy to provide consultation regarding planting, harvesting, pest management, and other gardening techniques. Garden members are encouraged to volunteer in various ways throughout the season to support the Garden. Staff will offer education on season extension, and garden members will have the option to extend the growing season into March 2019.

Plot rental applications are due on Friday, March 23, 2018. There are 39 plots available for rent. If more than 39 applications are received by the deadline, a lottery will be held to determine who will receive a plot. We encourage people to join with neighbors, family, and friends to share plots, allowing more people to access the Garden. Three types of plots will be available:  6X16-foot raised beds, 10X12-foot in-ground beds, and 4X8 foot raised beds.  Raised beds will be given to individuals with physical needs first. Upon being chosen to receive a plot, you must pay your garden fee, sign a garden member contract, and attend an orientation session before you can begin gardening. (Our main orientation session will be held on Saturday April 7th.)

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 4:30 PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 2018 - NO EXCEPTIONS.
