We are excited to invite you to join the Friendship Circle leadership board!

Being a member of this intimate crew is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in the organization. You will discover and explore the world of disabilities and how we can embrace those individuals, creating a more inclusive society. You will have opportunity to take an active role in different capacities of the organization to better the experience for our participants and your fellow teen volunteers.

All board members are dedicated Friendship Circle volunteers in grades 10 through 12.

Here are a few things that being on the board entails:

1. Attending Friendship Circle programs on a monthly basis and attending monthly board meetings throughout the year.
2. Assisting in the smooth running of Friendship Circle programs (prep, design, signage, registration, mentoring junior volunteers, etc).
3. Teen event planning & execution (brainstorming ideas before events, recruiting other teens to attend, spreading the word via social media etc).
4. Being a positive advocate for Friendship Circle.
5. Looking for ways to improve Friendship Circle programs and our engagement with families & volunteers.
6. We understand schedules will sometimes conflict. It is permissible to miss one Board meeting and still remain on the Board.
