Welcome to Temple Sinai!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for deciding to become part of our community, which has been a hub of Conservative Jewish life in Upper Dublin for nearly 50 years.
Our synagogue thrives thanks to the many ways our members lend their support. While Temple Sinai no longer automatically bills members a traditional fixed dues amount, we ask all members to make a financial donation to help cover our operating costs so our community can continue to flourish. As you can imagine, expenses for guest speakers, holiday programs, special interest groups, safety and security, and building maintenance are substantial.
When considering your pledge, please note that membership contributions currently cover only 31% of our budget. While there’s no single “right” number, we ask that you give as generously as you’re able, so Temple Sinai can remain a welcoming place for all seeking connection. Just as a frame of reference, last year the average membership donation was $2,051 and the majority of member pledges ranged between $1,600 - $3,600.
Please enter the amount of your membership pledge below on the line which says "Your Answer". Once your pledge is received and processed, you’ll receive an email from the Temple Sinai Business Office with instructions on how to set up your ShulCloud member account. You will then be able to fulfill your pledge with a one-time payment or you can set up a payment plan through ShulCloud or by contacting the Business Office directly.
We look forward to seeing you at Temple Sinai and sharing all the wonderful things our community has to offer!
Warmly,
The Temple Sinai Board of Directors
