The mission of Askkanwii Film Hub is to incubate, train, and mentor filmmakers in Colorado and in the diaspora with programs that can help galvanize and provide opportunities for underrepresented young people with artistic skills and passions.

Askkanwii means “community” in Wolof, the native dialect of Senegal.
