This 30-hour course is a Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) approved Paraprofessional pre-employment program. The Education Exchange Teacher Assistant Training is primarily online via Zoom. It is the student's responsibility to have internet access and Zoom capable device prior to enrollment. In addition to attending the scheduled online classes, a minimum 3-4 hour in-person field study is required to complete the course (you will schedule the field study directly with the school of your choice (and with instructor approval) about 3-4 weeks after the first class).
