This 30-hour course is a Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) approved Paraprofessional pre-employment program. The Education Exchange Teacher Assistant Training is primarily online via Zoom. Access to the internet and a device are required prior to enrollment. In addition to attending the scheduled online classes, a minimum 3-4 hour in-person field study is required to complete the course (you will schedule the field study directly with the school of your choice (and with instructor approval) about 3-4 weeks after the first class).
