Radar Mission
RADAR Productions serves queer audiences and artists in San Francisco through free and affordable literary arts programs that authentically reflect Queer communities’ experiences. RADAR’s creates a platform for emerging queer artists, commissions the creation of new work, and gives voice to innovative Queer writers and artists.
Radar History
Founded in 2003 by writer Michelle Tea, RADAR Productions stimulates the production and consumption of queer literature and explores the community-building role played by literature and the arts. RADAR’s presenting, commissioning, touring, and artist development programs give voice to marginalized Queer authors and spoken word artists whose work authentically reflects our community’s diverse experiences.
What is the Development Committee?
The Development Committee takes the lead on all of RADAR's fundraising activity. The Development Committee will produce and host at least two fundraisers per calendar year and help cultivate individual donations via our annual ask.
