Missing Maps Mapathon at RIT Sign-Up
Hello and thank you for your interest in the Missing Maps Mapathon at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

What is a mapathon? Well, it's a hackathon, but for map making - a mapathon! The event is in collaboration with the Missing Maps Project, which helps volunteers create maps of vulnerable places in the world where no maps exist, in order to aid those communities in things like disaster management and recovery. As a group we will tackle a high-priority mapping project for a vulnerable community using OpenStreetMap.

No experience required, but knowledge of and skills in GIS are helpful!

The event will take place on 3/21 from 5:00-8:00pm in the Thomas B. Golisano College for Computing and Information Science (Golisano Hall), room GOL2650 on the Rochester Institute of Technology campus.

If you have any questions about the event, feel free to reach out to Frankie Albin at fja1313@rit.edu. Thanks again for your interest!
