Festival Rules
Checking each option indicates that you have a full understanding and will adhere to the rules. *
Required
Swords, daggers, and ritual blades are allowed provided they are peace- tied and sheathed *
Peace-tying a weapon keeps it from being used. As an example, sheath a sword and peace-tie the hilt of the sword to the sheath so that it cannot be drawn. Arrows in a quiver must be peace-tied together and the bow unstrung. It is a simple process that helps insure the safety of the guests.
Required
Vendors and ritual participants may safely display swords, daggers, and ritual blades with prior approval through the application process. *
Required
Alcohol Use *
Guests may not bring alcohol onto festival grounds. Alcoholic drinks are available from the VFW bar inside the facility. We expect guests to “drink responsibly,” to conduct themselves respectfully, and to arrange for alternative transportation after drinking.
Required
Children on Festival Grounds *
Adults must supervise children under 12 at all times. Failure to monitor children may result in expulsion from the festival grounds. Do not leave children unattended. There is no unauthorized soliciting.
Required
Smoke Free Event *
This is a smoke free event, smoking prohibited on the festival grounds. Smoking is permitted in parking lot 20 feet away from any persons, doorways etc. Please dispose of your butts safely and properly.
