Sharetea Fairfield | Hercules Fundraiser Application
APPLICATION REVIEW & LEGAL

Sharetea Fairfield and Sharetea Hercules support organizations in a variety of ways, including in-restaurant fundraisers and in-kind donations.  We are exclusively focused on assisting non-profit organizations in the following categories:

• K–12 Schools
• Local Community/Service Organizations

If your request falls into one of these categories and meets the following guidelines, please submit an application. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we cannot honor all of them. If your request is approved, we will contact you.

APPLICATION
Please agree to the guidelines.  We will not review applications submitted in person and/or via email or hard copy.

W9
All organizations must have a current and signed W9 on file with us.  A W9 form may be downloaded from the IRS Website.

MINIMUM LEAD TIME:
Requests must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the event/donation date in order to be considered.

ELIGIBILITY
We will not provide charitable support for organizations in the following categories:

• Individuals (scholarships, stipends, fellowships, personal assistance);
• For-profit ventures;
• Capital campaigns, endowment funds or memorials;
• Lobbying, political or fraternal activities;
• Individual study, research or travel grants;

LIMITATIONS
Due to the volume of requests received, Sharetea Fairfield and Sharetea Hercules reserves the right to limit the number of donations/fundraisers to only one (1) donation and/or fundraiser every six months per parent organization.  For example, if a parent organization has multiple groups making requests, we may limit donations and/or fundraisers to a single group within the parent organization.  Sharetea Fairfield and Sharetea Hercules will honor requests at their own discretion.

DISCRIMINATION
Sharetea Fairfield and Sharetea Hercules will not support organizations that discriminate against a person or a group on the basis of age, political affiliation, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I understand this is only an initial request and does not guarantee my fundraiser/donation will be approved. If accepted I will be required to provide Federal Tax ID and W9 for the organization. I will not promote the fundraiser until official flyers have been received with an approval email from Sharetea Fairfield and/or Sharetea Hercules. I also understand that fundraisers/donations are limited to one fundraiser and/or donation every 6 months per parent organization. I understand that if my organization does not bring in at least $250 ($50 donation) in fundraiser sales at the time of the fundraiser that we will not be eligible to receive 20% of the sales from our supporters.   *
