2019 PPS Preservation Awards Nomination Form
The Providence Preservation Society works to improve Providence by advocating for historic preservation and the enhancement of the city's unique character through thoughtful design and planning.

Periodically, we present awards to recognize projects, people, and initiatives that reflect our mission and contribute positively to the preservation and improvement of the Providence landscape. This fall, an independent jury will convene in New Orleans, LA, to review finalists and determine award recipients.

As an organization that celebrates a wide range of styles and design interventions and projects small to large, PPS encourages industry professionals and members of the public to submit award nominations.

A celebration of preservation excellence will take place Thursday, November 21 at an awards dinner at the recently restored Providence Public Library. We hope you will join us!

There is NO FEE for nominations by members of the public. Fill out as much information below as you are able to provide.

Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on September 13, 2019.

Award Criteria
Providence is experiencing a renaissance. Help us to recognize projects of the last two years that exemplify excellence in historic preservation, design, and planning.

Projects of all sizes are eligible. Projects must be completed between January 1, 2017 and August 31, 2019.

The professional submission fee is $50.00 per project. The fee is waived for Partners in Preservation. You may mail a check made out to Providence Preservation Society to 24 Meeting Street, Providence, RI 02903. Please note the name of the submission in the memo section of the check.
