2020 Weaverville Tailgate Market Vendor Application
The Weaverville Tailgate Market is operated by and for its Vendors, who are original producers of items being sold. It is designed to support local, small-scale farmers and artisans (food and crafts) by providing an additional marketing opportunity for their produce and products. In addition, the mission of the market is to provide the community a source of fresh, high-quality products, and be a part of the community it serves.

Vendors must be pre-approved for admission into the market. The vendor must be the producer, family member, intern, or employee involved in the production of the items sold.

The market opens for the season on April 1, 2020 at Reems Creek Nursery. Markets are held every Wednesday from 2:30pm to 6pm until October 28, 2020. Vendors must be present during entire market hours.

ALL VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY FEBRUARY 1, 2020.
ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED BY FEBRUARY 15, 2020.

NO PRODUCE OR OTHER END PRODUCTS OF ANY KIND MAY BE PURCHASED BY VENDORS FROM ANOTHER SOURCE FOR RESALE AT THE MARKET (with the exception of seafood).

Vending entitles a vendor to one selling site (10' x 10') at the market. Vending benefits include free market advertising, and full-time vendors have priority placement over day vendors. Also, Market Bucks are available for customers to purchase with a debit/credit card that can be spent with any vendor. Vendors are charged $1 for every $40 Market Bucks cashed out.

To join, please complete this application. If accepted into the market, full time vendor dues are $150 per year and payable to the market treasurer upon acceptance. Fees are not refundable. Day vendor fee is $15/day due at beginning of each market. There are no shared memberships.
