Maine STEM Teacher Corps Associated Community of Teachers (ACT) Application Form
Please use this form to apply for membership to the Maine STEM Teacher Corps Associated Community of Teachers (ACT). The ACT will meet with the Maine STEM Teacher Corps members at monthly community meetings (Octobers–May) via zoom. These monthly meetings will be structured around working groups that focus on critical problems of practice and areas where you/they would like to grow as a teacher. You will also be invited to other professional learning hosted by the Maine STEM Teacher Corps program. 

Benefits of being an ACT teacher in the Maine STEM Teacher Corps Program:

  • Regular meetings with innovative teachers who are interested in growing their skills and in collaborating with each other to address critical problems of practice, 

  • Opportunities to grow as a teacher leader by planning and/or (co-)facilitating professional learning events, and

  • $35/hour for each hour of participation.

Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2026 or until the cohort of 50 teachers is filled. Membership is for one academic year. You will be notified of your acceptance into the Maine STEM Teacher Corps Associated Community of Teachers by email.
