Our mission is to promote ecological and economical grazing management practices to landowners and managers, livestock producers, and the public, which results in improved grazing efficiency, profitability, livestock performance, carbon sequestration, and soil quality. We do this through farmer-to-farmer education and networking opportunities.

Our volunteer producer board members are expected to:
- Attend and participate in monthly 1 hour Zoom meetings, quarterly ½ day in-person Friday meetings, and our annual December Forage Conference
- Help LGLCI connect in your area and community, and be a resource to our organization to help us know the needs of other farmers and ranchers and resources (sponsors, other events and opportunities) in your area
- Help guide LGLCI’s overall goals
