Water WORCs Application
Water WORCs in Appalachia is a program supported by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC) Initiative. The initiative is led by West Virginia University, University of Kentucky, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and Virginia Tech.

For this application, you will be asked to provide the following:
  • Information about your eligibility
  • Information about yourself
  • Information about your education
  • Contact information (phone number, e-mail address) for a reference such as a teacher or previous supervisor who can speak to your qualifications and work ethic.
  • A short statement of interest (1-2 sentences) addressing why you are interested in working in an internship position related to drinking water or wastewater.
