Registration: In-Person Summit in Chicago, November 4-6, 2026
This form is collecting registration information for the Bird Collisions Prevention Alliance (BCPA) in-person summit scheduled for Wednesday November 4 through Friday November 6, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. Each of these days will be full (estimated 8:30 am–5:00 pm with scheduling to be confirmed). The summit will be held at the Chicago Architecture Centre downtown.

To attend the summit in-person, please register by September 30th 2026. 

At this time, the organizing committee is anticipating there will be no costs to register. Space is limited – please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. 

We recommend booking your accommodations early. Information about recommended hotels and travel logistics is compiled here including booking links and a code to access a group rate.

The tentative program for the summit includes:
  • Day 1 (Wednesday Nov 4) - Presentations, training from invited speakers to be confirmed
    Day 1 (Wednesday Nov 4) - Evening reception to be confirmed
  • Day 2 (Thursday Nov 5) - 'Working Day' in breakout discussions to be confirmed
  • Day 3 (Friday Nov 6) - Collisions-themed field trip(s) in Chicago to be confirmed

Please note that this summit will not feature formal participant presentations (such as posters or talks) in the style of a traditional academic conference. Instead, the curated program will center on scheduled presentations and collaborative discussions shaped by previous feedback from BCPA members. That said, we welcome participants to share ideas, experiences, or materials informally, and we may explore ways to incorporate additional contributions if there is interest.
