2024 - 2025 Certificate of Merit and Achievement form

The Society of Women Engineers-Houston Area Section (SWE-HA) is excited to invite your school’s administration to nominate students for the 2024-2025 SWE-HA Certificate of Merit and Achievement program. We are seeking nominations for middle and high school women who have demonstrated excellence in science and mathematics.


Key Details:

  • Eligibility: This award honors students who have completed at least three years of science and mathematics with distinction. Nominations may also be made for other exceptional achievements in math or science.

  • Nomination Limit: Each nominator (principal, counselor, math teacher, or science teacher) may submit up to two nominations.

  • Award Significance: While the SWE-HA Certificate of Merit and Achievement is a non-monetary award, it is an excellent recognition from a globally recognized nonprofit organization. Students can use this award to enhance their college applications.

  • Event: All awardees will be invited to our Scholarship and Awards Banquet, scheduled for April 23, 2025.

Please submit your nominations by Monday, March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST.

**If your application is incomplete, your submission will not be considered.**
**Only applications submitted by a school principal, counselor, math teacher or science teacher, or home school educator will be considered.  Applications will be verified.**
