Book Club: Making Democracy Count
Join us online October 28, 2025 from 4:00-5:30 PST for book club to discuss the relationship between math and democracy for our book club, Making Democracy Count: How Mathematics Improves Voting, Electoral Maps, and Representation  by Ismar Volic

This book club is for pre-service teachers, k-12 educators, UCI staff and faculty, and community members who are interested in learning more about how we can inform ourselves to foster a more democratic form of election systems and practices.   Please purchase your own book to read in advance of the meeting.
