Become an AU Review Contributor!
*PLEASE NOTE THIS FORM IS FOR WRITERS ONLY.*

We are searching for emerging writers around Australia to join the AU review.

You'll potentially be:
- Conducting Interviews (by phone, e-mail and/or in person)
- Writing news
- Reviewing gigs, events, festivals and/or restaurants in Australia or around the world
- Reviewing books, TV shows, films, video games or albums
- Writing and preparing feature articles and opinion pieces
- Becoming an AU Tastemaker: Helping choose our "Track of the Day"
... and more! We're open up to your pitches and ideas, too...

All you have to do is fill out the below form and submit an exclusive article for our consideration - so write that up before you fill out the form. Why do we do this? Over the years we have had hundreds of people become members of the site and then not submit any articles. We need to know you're serious.

Please note that we will NOT publish your work if you are not successful so feel free to use that content anywhere else at that time. You're welcome to ask for a copy when we advise you one way or another.

If we agree it's good enough to publish, you become an AU review contributor! You'll then receive paperwork and another form that will get you signed up properly, and give you the low down on how we run things here at the website.

Please select all that apply.
How many articles could you see yourself submitting a month to this section? *
Assume the average article size is 400 words, and keep in mind the various types of articles as above. Be honest here; we want to know your realistic expectations based on your other commitments. Saying 8 won't help you get the job anymore than saying 1 will - we just want an idea of how available and keen you are. Also keep in mind many article types (e.g. a live music review) usually have set deadlines. 48 hours is an average.
Please submit an exclusive article for consideration. *
Your best strategy here would be to provide an article that reflects the sort of content you'd like to write about on the AU. You can paste it in here or you can provide us with a link to the piece.
You can submit links to other pieces of work here:
